Art Workshops for 11-16 year olds

Art exploration workshops for 11 to 16 year olds with Parul

Saturdays 2 to 4pm Cost : £35

Saturday afternoon teen workshops will start on Saturday 20th April and continue over the summer term. These are led by Parul - a contemporary watercolour artist, who is a Central Saint Martins alumni and draws experience from a 20 year career in design.

The first half of the summer term will be an open space to create where each young artist will decide on their starting prompt - an image or idea of their choice. In the following weeks they will experiment, play, design and practise skills building up to creating 1 or 2 finished artworks. At the end of June BlueHouse artspace will host an exhibition of these artworks, providing the young artists with a unique chance to show off their hard work and beautiful creative ways of thinking. The sessions are open to no more than 8 teens at a time.

They will have the space to play with different materials, develop new creative thinking skills and enjoy the process, all while learning key art skills. Learning through play is powerful for developing brains.
